Luna, red hair and a sherry flight in E14

Red hair arrives first. Luna wears hers long, a deep dark auburn that catches every lamp in a room, and she knows precisely what it does for an entrance. She is 171 cm and curvy, with brown eyes and a direct, level gaze. Her style is bold and modern: strong colour, clean lines, a single statement earring, a tailored coat worn over the shoulders rather than buttoned. Nothing about her is accidental, and nothing looks laboured.

Luna is independent in the way that makes her good company: she has her own opinions and does not need yours to match. Her English is fluent and confident. She tastes wine seriously, keeps notes on the bottles worth remembering and will happily explain why a dry sherry is the most misunderstood glass in London. Photography is her daytime craft, and theatre, preferably something new and slightly difficult, is how she spends her free nights.

Her E14 evening starts at Ibérica on Cabot Square, where the Spanish list runs long and the small plates arrive in no particular order. She orders a sherry flight to begin, talks you through it without a hint of a lecture, and chooses the dinner bottle only after asking what you drank last week. When the plates stop coming the square outside is lit and still, and the fountains keep running for nobody but the two of you.
